South Milwaukee String Musicians Receive Instruction from Professional Group Sybarite 5
Fortunate students from School District of South Milwaukee string students will be receiving master class style instruction from the professional group Sybarite 5. Sybarite 5 is a modern crossover style string quintet that boasts touring such prestigious locations as the Library of Congress, Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Music Center and the Aspen Music Festival.
The students will divide into breakout sessions with the musicians and then be treated to a personal performance on Friday, February 1, 2013. The South Milwaukee Music Parents Association is proud to help support the student workshop and performance opportunities.
The community is invited to a performance Friday night, February 1 at 7:30 at the South Milwaukee Performing Arts Center.
