Cudahy

ROBBERY

• A 39-year-old Cudahy man was assaulted and robbed by a 38-year-old Milwaukee man and another man he does not know while outside of Shell, 5606 S. Packard Ave., at 6:25 p.m. Sept. 20. The men took 125 OxyContin tablets. He was transported to St. Luke's South Shore hospital for neck and back pain.

• An 18-year-old Milwaukee man and a Waukesha man, age unknown, who are employees at Fili's Restaurant, 4735 S. Packard Ave., were robbed at gunpoint by two men at 8:16 p.m. Sept. 30. The men took a wallet containing $90 and a wallet containing $20. The employees were taking out the trash at the time.

THEFT

• A vehicle parked in the 5700 block of South New York Avenue was rummaged through prior to 9:11 a.m. Oct. 1. A window was smashed to gain entry. Damage is $200.

• Percocet, OxyContin and Baclofen tablets and a pack of cigarettes were taken from an unlocked vehicle outside of Arlyn's Laundromat, 4775 S. Packard Ave., prior to 11:20 a.m. Oct. 1.

• A speaker and amplifier were taken from a locked vehicle in the 3700 block of East Van Norman Avenue prior to 4:21 a.m. Oct. 2. The rear window was damaged to gain entry. Loss is $3,100.

• A 69-year-old Cudahy woman reported at 1:04 p.m. Oct. 2 that she was scammed by someone over the phone who claimed he was her son and needed her to wire him $2,900 to bail himself out of a jail in Canada.

• Gas was taken without being paid for from Speedway, 4944 S. Packard Ave., at 4:38 p.m. Oct. 3. Loss is $40.66.

• A 48-year-old man reported that a 37-year-old friend who is homeless took $567 and personal documents from him while he stayed at his home in the 3600 block of East Squire Avenue prior to 6:30 p.m. Oct. 4.

• An amplifier was taken from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 5500 block of South Illinois Avenue prior to 2:30 a.m. Oct. 5. Loss is $100.

• The window of a vehicle was damaged and a stereo and speakers were taken while it was parked in the 5500 block of South Illinois Avenue prior to 6:30 a.m. Oct. 5. Loss is $550.

• Tools worth $2,375 were taken from an unlocked garage in the 3700 block of East Barnard Avenue prior to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 6.

• Two bikes that were locked together were taken from the basement of a locked apartment building in the 3000 block of East Adams Avenue prior to 5:10 p.m. Oct. 7. Loss is $674.

• A black 1994 Nissan Altima was taken from the 2800 block of East Somers Court prior to 12:03 p.m. Oct. 9. A window was damaged to gain entry. Loss is $1,000.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

• A 46-year-old Racine man was arrested for drunken driving after he hit a curb in the 5100 block of South Whitnall Avenue at 6:13 p.m. Oct. 3. His blood-alcohol content was 0.14.

• A 48-year-old Cudahy woman was arrested for her fourth drunken-driving offense, disorderly conduct and resisting officers after her vehicle was seen swerving in the 2400 block of East College Avenue at 10:28 p.m. Oct. 7. The woman slipped out of her handcuffs and struggled with officers. She refused a blood sample.

OTHER

• A 20-year-old Cudahy man was arrested for disorderly conduct after he beat up a 19-year-old man after arguing about the ownership of a hat in the 4900 block of South Lake Drive at 7:54 p.m. Oct. 29.

• Police made one domestic violence arrest.

• The Fire Department responded to one fire, 29 medical calls and three service calls.

St. Francis

• No incidents to report this week.

• Police made no domestic violence arrests.

South Milwaukee

BURGLARY

• Valuable coins, jewelry, two televisions, a laptop computer, credit cards, a checkbook, vehicle keys and personal documents were taken from a home that was burglarized in the 1200 block of Marquette Avenue prior to 3:52 p.m. Oct. 5. A door was pried open to gain entry. Loss is $44,740. The owner believes he knows the suspect.

• A vacant home in the 1000 block of Davis Avenue was burglarized prior to 11:24 a.m. Oct. 6. A door was pried open to gain entry. Nothing was taken.

THEFT

• The window of a vehicle was smashed and a digital media player, media accessories, tools and three text books were taken in the 500 block of Lakeview Avenue prior to 6:21 a.m. Oct. 6. Loss is $1,100.

• The lock of a vehicle was damaged and a stereo was taken in the 500 block of Sherman Avenue prior to 4:57 p.m. Oct. 6. Loss is unknown.

• A vehicle was taken from Seventh and Milwaukee avenues prior to 10:19 p.m. Oct. 6. It was located in Greenfield the next day with its window smashed and its speakers and CD player missing. Loss is $600.

• An organ, two saxophones, an amplifier and a toolbox were taken from an unlocked garage in the 200 block of Marshall Avenue prior to 6:37 a.m. Oct. 8. Loss is unknown.

• Tire rims were taken from a vehicle parked in the 200 block of North Chicago Avenue prior to 7:22 a.m. Oct. 9. Loss is unknown.

DRUG POSSESSION

• A 24-year-old man was cited for marijuana possession while police were investigating a domestic violence complaint at his home in the 500 block of Southtowne Place at 4:55 a.m. Oct. 10. He had 0.5 grams of marijuana on a table.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

• A 27-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving after he drove his motorcycle into a parked vehicle, causing substantial damage, in the 900 block of Milwaukee Avenue at 11:07 p.m. Oct. 5. The man was transported to the St. Luke's main hospital for five broken ribs, a broken scapula and a possible air bubble in his lungs. His blood-alcohol content was 0.09.

• A 21-year-old Oak Creek woman was arrested for drunken driving, her fourth offense of driving with a revoked license, and a warrant for drug paraphernalia after she made an illegal U-turn in the 1200 block of Milwaukee Avenue at 1:57 a.m. Oct. 8. Her blood-alcohol content was 0.15.

• A 26-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for drunken driving and for violation of her instructional permit after her vehicle was seen speeding and swerving in the 1400 block of Rawson Avenue at 12:55 a.m. Oct. 10. She refused to give a breath sample.

• A 47-year-old South Milwaukee man was arrested for his third drunken-driving offense and for fleeing police after his vehicle was seen speeding in the 1400 block of Madison Avenue. Police chased his vehicle to the 1100 block of Marquette Avenue at 12:58 a.m. Oct. 11. He refused to give a breath sample.

VANDALISM

• A vehicle parked in the 300 block of North Chicago Avenue was damaged after someone walked on it prior to 11:26 a.m. Oct. 6. Damage amount is unknown.

OTHER

• A 36-year-old man was warned after his 58-year-old neighbor complained that he kept throwing "odd" items in the yard of his home in the 1100 block of Milwaukee Avenue prior to 1:39 p.m. Oct. 6. The 58-year-old found raw bacon, a bottle labeled "skunk essence," a bottle labeled "liquid butt" and Styrofoam food containers.

• An intoxicated 44-year-old South Milwaukee man was arrested for disorderly conduct after he became belligerent after a bartender took his keys at Bickler's Coachlight Inn, 500 Madison Ave., at 1:31 a.m. Oct. 8.

• A 22-year-old South Milwaukee woman who is seven months pregnant was arrested for driving under the influence of heroin and driving with a suspended license in the 1700 block of Rawson Avenue at 5:25 p.m. Oct. 8. The woman, who also had her 13-month-old son in the car when she almost struck a parked car, had fresh hypodermic needle marks on her arm and said she took methadone and clonazepam earlier in the day. The Milwaukee Bureau of Child Welfare is also investigating the case.

• An intoxicated 57-year-old South Milwaukee man was arrested for disorderly conduct after he tried to start fights with customers at Speedway, 2301 10th Avenue, at 9:09 p.m. Oct. 8.

• A 16-year-old South Milwaukee boy was struck by a vehicle after he ran across the street in the 1200 block of Milwaukee Avenue at 5:35 p.m. Oct. 9. He was transported to St. Luke's South Shore Hospital for a broken leg. The driver of the vehicle will not be cited.

• Police made three domestic violence arrests.

• The Fire Department responded to one fire, 22 medical calls and no service calls.
