Woman bitten after feeding feral cats in Oak Creek

May 22, 2014 8:50 a.m. | The Oak Creek Health Department reported that a woman had to get rabies shots because she was bitten by a stray/feral cat May 17.

According to the Oak Creek police report:

The woman was feeding other feral cats when a brown and white male Siamese cat bit her on her left ankle while she was in the 8800 block of South 15th Avenue about 7:30 a.m. May 17.

The woman called the humane society, who advised her they would not respond, but told her to put out a cage and capture the cat.

The cat is still at large.

Police warn man, 59, after he asked 14-year-old girl out for coffee

May 21, 2014 7:45 a.m. | St. Francis police warned a 59-year-old man to change "his way of meeting women" after he tried to ask a 14-year-old girl to join him for coffee.

According to the St. Francis police report:

The 59-year-old Cudahy man was driving in the 2500 block of East Howard Avenue about 11 a.m. May 14, and he pulled over and asked a 14-year-old high school student to join him for coffee.

The girl, who was walking home because she was sick, told him "no." The girl said also told her mother, who notified police.

When police contacted the man, he told police he "doesn't go to bars because he doesn't drink (and) tried dating sites but that all he meets are ugly, fat women."

Man arrested after spitting at driver, damaging store's automatic entrance

May 19, 2014 8:09 a.m. | A man was arrested for disorderly conduct after he got out of his vehicle in the middle of the road, screamed and spat at another driver May 9.

According to the Oak Creek police report:

The man got out of his vehicle in the middle of the road, started screaming at another driver in a green Suburban and spit at him during an apparent road rage incident while leaving Farm & Fleet, 501 W. Rawson Ave., at about 5:55 p.m. May 9.

The man was arrested later that same day, around 7:30 p.m., for criminal damage to property after he returned to Farm & Fleet.

He yelled at employees in the auto repair area, and then damaged an entrance door by prying the automatic sliding doors open from the inside and slamming them all the way open, causing them to stop working.
