South Milwaukee Library Programs
The South Milwaukee Public Library Foundation, Inc. will be holding their annual wine tasting on Friday, October 16th from 7:00-9:30 PM at the library, 1907 10th Avenue, South Milwaukee, WI. Tickets are $20 per person. They are available at the door on the night of the event, or at M&I Bank-South Milwaukee, Parkway Floral or at the library circulation desk. The Garlic Mustard Pickers will provide the music.
The Library will be holding their Halloween Family Fun night on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 from 6:00-7:45 PM. Glen Gerard the magician will perform his magic tricks. Everyone is encouraged to come in costume! Refreshments will be served.
Sign up for the fall story time will begin on Monday, October 19th. Story time begins on Tuesday, November 3rd at 10:30.
Start your Christmas shopping early! The Friends of the Library will be holding their fall book sale on Saturday, November 21, 2009 from 9:30-3. Their Monday morning sales will be held on October 5 and December 7 from 9:30-11.
Looking for something to do on Saturday afternoons? Stop in and watch a movie. The Saturday afternoon matinee begins at 1:00. The movies that will be shown include Casablanc, All about Eve, The Philadelphia Story, Some Like it Hot, and Sunset Boulevard. The program is free.
