Come Join the Fun!  Make swimming an important part of your child???s life!!  Swimming lessons will give your child a good start in learning to enjoy the water as well as learning the skills necessary for its use as a lifetime sport.  Swimming classes designed to teach and improve skills to instill a positive and safe attitude toward water.

Classes will be held at the South Milwaukee Middle School Pool beginning Sep 19 - Nov 21 (no class Oct 10 & 31).

For safe and effective instruction, it is important that children sign up for the appropriate level when they register.  In most cases, students require an average of two or more sessions before passing a given level. There will be 8 Lessons are scheduled as follows:

Parent/child, 2-5 years, 10:00 - 10:25 am

Level 1 & 2, 10:30 - 11:10 am

Levels 3 & 4, 11:15-11:55 am

The class fee is $28 for residents and $42 for non-residents.  We encouraged you to sign up NOW as the class size will be limited.

1)  ON-LINE REGISTRATION

The South Milwaukee Recreation Department is pleased to offer the convenience of On-line Registration.  Enroll NOW!  Register in real-time online from the convenience of your own home or office 24/7 at www.smrecdept.org.  Receive an e-mail confirmation of your transaction immediately.  MasterCard and Visa Card Accepted.

2)  MAIL IN REGISTRATION

You may mail your completed registration form with payment to the South Milwaukee Recreation Department, 901 15th Avenue, South Milwaukee, WI 53172.  Please be sure to include name, address, age where applicable, telephone number, class choice, program code, e-mail address and proper fee.

3)  WALK IN REGISTRATION

You may walk in our office located in the Senior High School at 901 15th Avenue, South Milwaukee any time during regular office hours to register over the counter.  Walk-in registration is possible, Monday - Friday, 8:00 - 12:00 noon and 1:00 - 4:00 pm.  You may park your car in the NE lot and enter the building through door #24.  The Recreation Office is located just inside of door #24 and the building is labeled COMMUNITY RECREATION & FITNESS CENTER.

4)  DROP OFF REGISTRATION

You may hand deliver your registration to us.  Enter door #24, located at the NE side of the High School.  If no one is available to take your registration, simply drop it in our mail slot in our office door #1002.  The building will be open from 5:35 am - 9:00 pm Monday - Thursday; 5:35 am - 8:00 pm Friday, and from 7:00 am - 3:00 pm on weekends.  These hours may change during holidays.

Remember that the Senior High School Fieldhouse track is free to all South Milwaukee adult residents; and just $25 a year for Non-residents.
