Cudahy Ice and Snow Policy

Mayor Day You Have Failed This City!
I am NOT a Johnny Come Lately on Packard Plaza nor am I just now discovering development should have been one of Mayor Day’s top priorities. He is too little too late!
Repository of Information
We should all think of my blog as a repository of information, hopefully together with a description of City related things, when it appears and how to troubleshoot it.
City of Cudahy Fluoride Update
I was told that people are not interested in fluoride in the water and I should just drop it! Well I guess it was important enough and the City of Cudahy is getting questions that they updated the City Website for it.
Oh the Detractors!
If you have been reading the blog for a while you know we get into these patterns where people come out of the woodwork to attack and belittle me. These usually happen on the days or just after the days I write a blog post critical of someone or something they feel they need to defend.
Odds and Ends!
Some people have claimed it was a shock that I was running for alderman. I have taken all of this with great thought and anyone that has been reading the blog since 2010 knew I would be running for Alderman in 2013 as I talked about it in many blog posts.
We Need Fresh Ideas!
Let me start by saying, I think Justin Moralez’s idea are great! We need to start to try things outside the norm and outside the box. The same old same doesn’t work.
I Earned the Cudahy Police Department Union's Support and Endorsement

Some Corrections on the Cudahy Wal-Mart

Questions to the Cudahy Mayoral Candidates on the State of the City Meetings
Candidate Mayor Day,
Let's Talk Some More on the Dysfunctional City of Cudahy
I have talked about that development is a major issue in Cudahy and that our different segments of City Government pertaining to it are not on the same page, no check that, not even in the same book. It is dysfunctional and with dysfunctional things it is spreading to other things. It spreads like cancer.
Is El Rey Coming to Packard Plaza?
So my wife was at the Franklin Wal-Mart checking out and two women in front of her were talking about the new South Milwaukee Wal-Mart opening in April.
A Reader Reacts With Their Story
I want to share with you a sad but typical Cudahy story. I have edited this so the person’s personal stuff is not there and fixed a few spelling errors and adjusted the formatting for the blog, but going door-to-door, I have been hearing this as well.
Now Everyone Is In Cudahy District 3
I find it funny that all these people who have been against me and commenting on the blog for the longest time are suddenly claiming they are in my district and suddenly they claim their minds are made up that I am a hot head and they are now NOT going to vote for me and they are talking to their neighbors about me!
Our Voice Was Heard!
Okay people, Mayor Day is finally talking publicly about Packard Plaza! The constant pressures we have placed on him and Brian Biernat have got them interested in the situation there.
Oh Look Here Is Some Development In Cudahy - Well Maybe!
So another “Condo” project is being proposed for Cudahy. This must be some of the Earth shattering Kaboom development we were promised!

Cudahy Election Rumors
Well folks there are some rumors floating around and as you know I will air them out and see what happens.

Cudahy Info and Rumors
So it is that time again that we find ourselves with a City that just doesn’t want to get information to the public! It makes me think that underhanded things happen and are happening. This leads us to have to fish for information and lets rumors fly. Well you know I will air them out and let things fall where they may. Flush them out and bring light to them in a city so bent on keep people in the dark which keeps the rumor mill working overtime.

Updated Guest Blog by Concerned Cudahy Citizen - Cudahy's Use of Act 10
While act 10 was set forth as a tool for local school districts to control costs, here in Cudahy it is being used as a hammer to "get" people the administration does not like, to fund their "pet" projects, and get ready to come to the taxpayers in a "poor is us" state for a referendum in November. Is Act 10 really working in Cudahy, let's examine.

South Milwaukee Wal-Mart, Cleanup & Taxes
Most people know that I am pro-Wal-Mart. That isn’t a secret! One would only need to remember the Wal-Mart Now forum comment section, look back at my blog posts, or know that I was the lead Cudahy citizen on the Wal-Mart group to know that. It really comes down that I am pro-business. I would support ShopKo just as much and hard.

Just a Thought on City Email Addresses
Wouldn’t it be better to move to an email address for the Mayor’s position to have it be mayor@ci.cudahy.wi.us instead of the name of the Mayor? During future transitions, there would not be a need to setup forwarding rules or make any changes and the email of city business will not be missed.
Considerate Tagger?
While talking to one of my neighbors about the rash of graffiti we have been seeing in the third district (mostly in the alleys) he made the comment of, “At least the taggers were considerate and only tagged public city things like stop signs, recycle/garbage cans, telephone/electric poles and not our fences or garages!”

Many of the points are to deflect the criticism I personally brought up in the My Report Card of Mayor McCue series. Last year if you remember we had this - It is my understand that deputy clerk / confidential secretary (Judy Masarak), just quit and the city is bringing back Carolyn Thoms-Neary, even though the job description was not even hammered out as director of office services. If the personnel committee NEVER met about this idea how can it be passed? (I was told that Judy saw an ad for her job and decided to leave after seeing it) There were people that questioned that the numbers I used were valid. So here it is! Please Email me any questions or comments you want me to post for Mayor McCue to answer for his Cudahy State of the City Address. The City’s website http://www.ci.cudahy.wi.us/. I like to think of it as “The People’s Website.” If you look at it, it meets the basic needs of a city website created in the late 1990’s. School Board Members are a very important part of any city that many people don’t know much about. Yes, it is for real! This is NOT an April fool’s Day Joke. Some don’t think that my blogs and the time that goes in, are enough. As I look at my numbers of views on the city, Mayor and Wal-Mart blogs – NO! They are still very high in people looking. This is part 1 of the wrap-up of my report card of Mayor Ryan McCue. Mayor McCue’s statement on the city gaining control of the Iceport land: Instead of just focusing on the 4th of July with a committee, I think the Cudahy committee’s name and purpose needs to change and evolve to the Special Events Committee. It’s Friday and time for another installment of Mayor Ryan McCue’s Report Card. We tally up the grades today. Mayor McCue is doing a fabulous job of keeping businesses in Cudahy. Just a fabulous job! I am not sure if you caught the reporting when CudahyNow reporter This items can be considered rumors, gossip, street talk, the word or they could be true. Only time will tell! I have been accused by two local bloggers that have taken interest with me because I am a Conservative Republican and support Wal-Mart. Now one of them does state that I am not a racist, but he is implying it with saying in his blog title “racism is alive in Cudahy”. | ||||||
