Am I the only one here that is really bothered by the way Nancy Pelosi outright accuses the  CIA of lying to her about the use of  "enhanced interrogation techniques", then when she is called onto the carpet for it, she says " Yea.... ummm, well, I am not going to talk about that any more"

Since when does this happen? Bill Clinton didn't get to say that. George Bush didn't get to say that. I don't get to say that.. and you don't either.

This woman works for US. She has a duty to talk about whatever we want to hear about.

The republicans, in this instance led by Newt Gingrich were all up in arms, talking censure, removal from office, perjury charges. everything short of a public stoning.

This was the biggest thing since Watergate.

and now..... its just been swept aside. No big deal.

kind of odd, don't you think?

I honestly don't care if she is lying, or if the CIA is lying, I've come to expect that in my politicians, But i do expect more from the media, and us as individuals as well.

Look, I really consider myself middle of the road when it comes to politics.I say it like i see it, and the way this all came down is bull$*&%

And heres a twist, Guess who i blame for all of this? Yep, the republicans, they just let this "Matter of national security" just die . All i ever hear about from these guys is.. "Media bias, they wont print or air anything we say" I say thats crap.

I DO believe the media is bias. no question about that. So, what do you do to get your voice heard? here's an idea, Get a backbone, don't just complain, do something about it. Want some media time? have every republican member of congress all the way down to the local aldermen clear their calendar on day, don't report to the office, but call a press conference at your local city hall. Everyone read the same canned statement at the same time.

do you think if half the members of all branches didn't show up for work, no one would care to broadcast the reason?

And to counter the whole issue of "taxpayers shouldn't have to pay for them to stage a protest" You have everyone donate their salary for the day to either the families of fallen soldiers, or an organization that cares for abused children. You cant get but so much flack about that one.

yea, i know.. good luck getting politicians to donate anything.

Its call grassroots efforts guys. Get your voices heard, If you guys don't know what that is, do a goggle or bing  search on the following question.. "What kicked our asses in the last election?" you will learn all about it.

I wonder if it has anything to do with this headline
