Time Warner Cable’s high school football game of the week in our area this Friday is Sussex Hamilton at Cedarburg.
That has the makings of a very good game, for sure. But one could certainly make an argument the choice should have been Franklin vs. Greendale.
Franklin lost in the Division 1 state title game last year to Arrowhead, 45-24. Meanwhile, Greendale lost in the Division 3 state title game to Monona Grove, 21-17. Plus, there's the crosstown rivalry factor.
Time Warner will televise Franklin vs. Oak Creek on Friday, September 26. I’m thinkin’ that’ll be worth watching as will the October 9 game against Indian Trail, a Thursday night contest, that will be televised on WCGV Channel 24.
