The state has released its report card for every school district in Wisconsin and Franklin exceeds expectations.
This may sound like a time to pop the champagne corks, but consider that every school district in the state except Milwaukee's exceeded expectations (I thought Act 10 was going to devastate all public schools). Therefore, Franklin merely kept pace with the average, the status quo.
Basically Franklin maintains the same numerical scores from a year ago. Could the district do better? Absolutely. One could argue the district could and should "significantly exceed expectations." None of the schools in the district do according to this report.
Ahh, but all that money coming from your wallets via the referenda should make for incredibly high scores next year, at least at the high school, right?
