The Way I See It!

I am an Ultra-Conservative, Alpha-Male, True Authentic Leader, Type "C" Personality, who is very active in my community; whether it is donating time, clothes or money for Project Concern or going to Common Council meetings and voicing my opinions. As a blogger, I intend to provide a different viewpoint "The way I see it!" on various world, national and local issues with a few helpful tips & tidbits sprinkled in.

Elect John Hohenfeldt for Cudahy Mayor April 2nd

2013 Election, Cudahy, Election, John Hohenfeldt, Mayor

From John Hohenfeldt

I would like to thank the Cudahy residents who gave me a few minutes of their time as we continue to meet at your door, and throughout the community.  I continue to listen and share the same concerns you have for our city, and once elected Mayor, will work hard on your behalf to make our community better.

One of the largest concerns I hear is the lack of businesses and the attitude towards our local businesses.  I will once again create a business friendly attitude here in the community that will help our existing businesses attract new customers, work hard to bring new businesses into the community, and once again focus our development and redevelopment efforts to add more to our city’s tax base.

The other major concern which has affected most residents is our dump fee.  I have listened closely to you where you are putting things in your garbage, taking it to a relative’s house out of town, or better yet have heard stories of people who have used businesses dumpsters and even dumping in our parks rather than paying the dump fee.  To that, I pledge to recommend to the Common Council to reduce or eliminate the dump fee, and end this unnecessary hardship upon our residents.  We ask our residents to keep their properties up, while charging them a fee to do so.  To me, that just does not make sense.

I look forward to our continued discussions and our working together to make our city a better place to live, work, and shop.  As your Mayor, I will work hard on your behalf every day to make Cudahy better for our next Generations of Pride, our children.

If you would like to share any of your concerns, questions, or suggestions, I can be reached at 414-614-7169 or johnhohenfeldt@yahoo.com.

I would be honored to once again serve you as Mayor of Cudahy.  I ask for your support and vote on Tuesday April 2nd.

Sincerely,

John Hohenfeldt
