City Snapshots
I am a mama, student, and wannabe writer with a passion for community development and organizing. I want to explore and help build the narrative of the City of Cudahy.
Introductions.
I am starting City Snapshots in order to explore the best of the City of Cudahy. I want to introduce neighbors, promote groups and community events, and open a meaningful dialogue about what we want for the future of the city.
I'll start by introducing myself.
My name is Jenn, and I live in Cudahy. I am married, and have three kids in the public school district--one at the middle school and two at Lincoln. I was born here and, with the exception of a six year stint on Milwaukee's East Side, am a lifelong resident. I am committed to doing everything I can to see this city reach its full potential.
I am passionate about community development, organizing, writing, and meeting new people, and I hope to use this space to bring all of those things together in a way that is effective and constructive. I hope you will help me--Share your ideas, stories, concerns, and opinions! If you know of a group or event that you would like to see an article about, let me know! Do you know someone who deserves to be featured, or would you like to be interviewed? Drop me a line!
