                                Would you like to see a teen club in the area?

      A friend of mine has been tossing around the idea of opening a club in our area for teenagers. She is
the Mother of two daughters and they are always talking how they wish there was someplace fun in the
area they could do that was age appropriate. Where in our area can teenagers gather on a Saturday
night and dance, socialize, play games or listen to a DJ play their favorite music?

     So she came up with the idea of opening a club that would be for teenagers of a certain age to be able to have a great time without being subjected to the peer pressures that we are all worried about them having to face. Teenagers are looking for a place they can hang out and have fun. Why not let them do that in a controlled environment that keeps them safe but still allows them to have all the fun they seek. Of course parents would always be welcome and no alcohol would be served.

     My friend is looking for some ideas and feedback on this while it is still in the early stages of
development. What are your thoughts or opinions on a club for teenagers in our area? Are their certain
activities you would like to see available that teens could participate in?
